Worship Times
Sunday Morning
The Morning Worship Service begins with singing from our church choir. Followed by congretational singing, prayer and offering, and a moment of fellowship. Please don’t be alarmed if people come up to you, excited you are here! When fellowship ends, special singing will commence, followed by Preaching from the Word of God and a call to action (alter call) to pray and seek God’s face (use the alter as the Lord leads you). There is no wrong time to pray at Happy Valley. From the moment you walk in the door, OUR ALTER IS OPEN for your use in reaching out to the Lord.
Sunday Evening
The Evening Worship Services begin much like the morning – minus the adult choir. Congregational singing, offerings to the church, as well as our Change for the Children offering which is taken up by the kids in the sanctuary. The monies from this change offering provide greatly for our Children’s Ministry. Once the offering is done, we get to hear from our Youth Choir as they sing praises to the Lord and aid in stirring our hearts before the preaching begins. After a few moments of fellowship we have special singing and the preaching begins and is followed by that call to action (alter call) to speak to the Lord on what you have just heard. Again, during this service our alter IS ALWAYS OPEN for use in calling out to God.
Wednesday Evening
At the beginning of our Wednesday Evening Service a Prayer Sheet is passed throughout the Sanctuary, giving everyone an opportunity to share their prayer requests. Congregational singing and offering take place along with a moment of fellowship. During this fellowship the children and teens are dismissed to their appropriate classes. (Pee-Wee Club, Patch the Pirate Club, and Teen Church). After a special song, preaching begins. When the preaching has finished, typically, Prayer Sheets (with the prayer requests written) are passed out and we gather together in prayer to dismiss the service.
